"It was our great pleasure to have Salsa Con Jazz for an extended corporate function.  Our client, Daimler/ Mercedez-Benz, was thrilled beyond belief with the groups ability to entertain and deliver a sound that highlighted our event.  They are one of the best sounding and cohesive bands that I have seen in a long time.  They carry such an impressive arsenal of musicians that it is no wonder they left us captivated."–Joey Cairo, Producer, OSK Marketing and Communications

Latin-Jazz Band: Salsa con Jazz brings you the best of Latin music. From Afro-Cuban roots to high-energy salsa to hip, groovy Latin Jazz, this group hits the right note for any event. They play Salsa and Latin Jazz, combining the improvisation of Jazz with the infectious grooves of the Mambo, Cha Cha Cha and more.

Named after Jimmy Trujillo's popular KUVO radio show, this 11-piece band features some of Denver’s best musicians, including Jimmy Trujillo on bass, Justin Adams on piano, Gary Sosias on timbales and vocals, José Espino on bongos, bata, and percussion, Mark Márquez on congas, Phil Weightman on drums, Walter Barr on trumpet, Wade Sander on trombone, Jeremy Wendelin on saxes and flute, Bernard Alvarado on lead vocals, and Tomás Ornelas on vocals. The 3-piece horn section provides the kick behind Bernardo’s vocals, and when the mood is softer they lay down flowing melodies and solos. Behind it all, the stellar rhythm section gives the music its pulse, from heart-pounding dance tunes to smoldering ballads. The band can provide a smaller ensemble to match your needs.

Whether you’re ready to dance or just want to hear great music, Salsa con Jazz is the choice for a great event.
